Although canines may not see red, I'm sure this is still more interesting than the plain brown/grey/black toys. Our dog finds Paula the Parrot exquisite. I have an eagle toy (not from this brand) that I lay next to the parrot and ask him which toy he wants, when I purposely hand him the eagle, he still has his gaze fixed on the parrot and doesn't care much for the eagle.
Although our dog can easily destroy plush toys to get to the squeaker within minutes, somehow he has respect for this one. Also, taking away the toy after he puts it down or is distracted helps extend the life of the plushie.
This toy arrived last night. Appeared well made, super loud exciting squeaker! My dog immediately loved it for the variety of noises it made. Unfortunately as an avid squeaker of toys, the toy’s two squeakers lasted less than an hour. It’s
Important to note that he doesn’t chew up or destroy toys, simply squeaks them until they stop squeaking. So the short life was disappointing, but likely not the toy’s fault. He still enjoyed it while it lasted.
