Giving Sunshine at Christmas Time

The Sunshine Dogs and friends need your help to bring sunshine to shelter pets at Christmas time! Help us fill our donation jar and enter to win a prize pack! The donations will be accepted now till 12/15.

Your donations will be hand delivered to three Pittsburgh area animal welfare organizations.

Ways to participate

1Some for your pup, Some for the pups at shelters

Get a toy for your pup, we will match and donate one to the @thesunshinedogs toy drive for you and hand deliver them to the shelters

2Place an order that goes to the shelters directly

Enter @thesunshinedogs in ' Special note for Chopper & Otis' in cart, we will match and put the toys aside and hand deliver them to the shelters with @thesunshinedogs

Rescue Pups Would Like

The pups at the shelters would love the durable toys that they can play and cuddle for a while. Here is the list that we recommend:

For power chewers: These toys are super tough, super strong. Great for the pups at shelters who have been strong and fought through the difficulty in their life with some aggressive attitude.
For tough chewers: The toys for tough chewing pups can handle long lasting chew sessions. These toys are great for the pups that have destructive behaviors.
For moderate chewers: Some pups like to have a chew session here and there, mostly when they are bored or bad been neglected in their previous home. These toys are the great ways of redirecting their attentions.
For gentle chewers: There are a good amount elderly pups in shelters. They may no longer have the strength for a tough chew, however, they would still like to have cuddly yet durable toys.
